+Ruby Scarlet is a character appeared in [[legacy:projects:eremidia_an_empty_tome|Eremidia: An Empty Tome]] as a supporting character and one of the key figures who helped the [[legacy:characters:scout|Scouts]] in a series of quest to reach the [[places:Great Library]]. As one of the [[factions:Librarians|Curators]], Ruby owns and keeps her own [[places:Great Library#Corners|Corner]], called "Scarlet Corner".

+At the first glance, Ruby seems like a regular librarian, showing much interests in books and records stored in her corner and less on everything else, including [[legacy:faction:riftwalkers|visitors]] from the outside. As a result, she often finds herself in awkward situations when she must interact with outsiders save for few individuals such as [[legacy:characters:nuloa|Master Librarian]] or [[legacy:characters:richter_heimsdel|the retired curator]].
+When it comes to particular knowledge about the [[places:Great Library]] or everything related to the nexus of interconnected realms, Ruby has quite a comprehensive bundle of records and volumes of numerous tomes in her collections. While she doesn't mind to share such knowledge to her visitors, she holds the entire sensitive knowledge tight; unless one is able to convince her with commendable intentions, she will not reveal even a bit of the knowledge to anyone.

+Ruby is an expert reader and is acknowledged of numerous knowledge thanks to her aptitude in researching and compiling records into sensible, comprehensive books. However, as an average person of her own, Ruby's memory capacity is limited; thus she's only capable to memorize a small portion of knowledge she has sorted and compiled. For this reason, she is attached to Scarlet Corner to the extent she's sworn to not leave her corner by any means.
+As a Helenese, Ruby has no problem in performing Helenistic art; she's capable to perform light manipulation techniques and cast mantras of Helena origin. For example: the source of lightings in Scarlet Corner is made with a slight but continous light manipulation which intensity depends on how Ruby maintains her breathes; and the locking mechanisms in Scarlet Corner is tampered with the Helenistic mantra that only Ruby herself is able to manipulate it.
