+Rachel Almond is a character appearing in [[legacy:projects:eremidia_an_empty_tome|Eremidia: An Empty Tome]] as a supporting character, initially not paying attention to [[domain:The Rift]]'s existence until she finds herself in the realm between the planes.
+Rachel, despite her young age, is a Freelance Specialist often hired by her home world government to combat mysterious hostile creatures that keeps appearing there. She got herself "lost" into a Rift after opening a door that's normally for her favorite cake shop, and ended up in a makeshift bar inside the Rift.

+Rachel is an upbeat and energetic lass with an (acute) sweet tooth. She really loves cakes and other sweet stuffs, and usually blows her payment from government missions to buy limited-edition cake from a shop in her hometown.
+She also shows some jealousy towards other girls with "bigger assets" than herself, and is somewhat has a complex with her petite stature.

+Rachel wields a set of long range weapons. Her main hand of choice is a custom Handgun named "Parfait" which is able to do considerable damage even to those with considerably thick armors.
+She also wields "Shortcake", a pump-action Shotgun to shred Hostiles with ease.
+For paralyzing and capture purpose, she uses a whip which is capable of delivering 1.000.000 volts of electricity.
+Her most prized weapon is a Gatling Gun sized almost as big as herself, the "Galdsmuncher 4000". It is able to mow down a large horde of hostiles, with the cost of its Bullet maintenance usually taking as much as half of her contract payment.
+When facing Giant/tough Hostiles, she usually switch her Galdsmuncher 4000 to a Rocket Launcher called "Sturmfaust 18E", capable of launching 4 Explosive Rounds in rapid fire succession.
+With her petite body, she's very nimble, usually used at her advantage with hit and run strategies to avoid getting hit by enemies while dishing out as much bullet as she can.
